Choyke, Greg van

Greg van Choyke, MATD is the Director of Strategic Global Initiatives for the Certification and Global Development team at The Institute of Internal Auditors. Greg, who earned his Master of Arts in Training and Development from Roosevelt University in 2010 and has a background in association management, joined The IIA in 2017.
In his role at The IIA, Greg is responsible for the strategic global initiatives and marketing efforts for the department by helping our global network of affiliates and chapters. Greg’s primary responsibilities also consist of collaborating on strategies regarding the communications and marketing for The IIA’s core certifications and designations: the flagship Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) certification, the Certification in Risk Management Assurance® (CRMA®), the Qualification in Internal Audit Leadership® (QIAL®), and the Internal Audit Practitioner designation.
In addition, Greg’s duties also include maintaining affiliate relationships with more than 100 North American and international offices; sustaining high customer satisfaction and guiding marketing efforts in support of The IIA’s products and services. Greg has worked in the United States, Germany, and the Bahamas throughout his association tenure.
