Picco, Jeremy

Jeremy Picco joined PRA in 2003 after working for more than six years with a Big 4 firm completing external audits across the globe. He has led the Internal Audit practice as a Partner since 2006, with specialty services in treasury risk management, Anti-Money Laundering and IT. He became the Managing Partner of PRA Canada in 2018. Jeremy has provided Board training, ERM advisory services and regulatory readiness preparation at numerous organizations throughout Canada. He also leads PRA’s supervisory oversight practice with a regulatory entity in Canada. With a strong financial background and knowledge base, Jeremy assists clients in understanding and making improvements to their systems and controls.

Jeremy completed a 5-year term as Board member of the Institute of Internal Auditors of Canada as well as a 6-year term with IIA Vancouver and is currently a Board member with IIA Toronto. He is also an IIA Qualified Assessor, allowing him to complete Quality Assurance review of Internal Audit functions. Jeremy has recently served in the outsourced role of Director, Internal Audit at various Credit Unions, a regulatory agency, and three Schedule II Banks throughout British Columbia and Ontario.
