Dey, Peter

Peter Dey is Chairman of Paradigm Capital, an independent investment dealer, and member of the Board of Directors of Gran Tierra Energy. He has held numerous corporate directorships, was Managing Director and Chairman of Morgan Stanley Canada (1994-2001), and a partner at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt from 1972- 1983; 1985-1994; and 2001-2005. From 1993-1995, he chaired the Toronto Stock Exchange Committee on corporate governance which established guidelines for the governance of Canadian corporations in the report “Where Were The Directors?” (also known as the “Dey Report”). He has also served as Chairman of the Ontario Securities Commission and was Canada’s representative to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Task Force that developed the OECD Principles of Corporate Governance released in May of 1999. He is an Executive-inResidence at the University of Toronto’s Rotman School of Management.
